OS CD-ROMイメージ (3/05) のダウンロード&作成:

SUNのサイトでユーザー登録(無料)後 http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/get.jsp にアクセスし、
「Download Solaris for x64/x86 - CD image」のリンクへ移動。
下記各種CDイメージをダウンロード。

解凍後Easy_CD_Creator の「ファイル」メニューの「CDイメージからCDに書き込む」を使い、
6枚のCD-ROMを焼き込む。





マシン構成

本体： Dell Optiplex GXa (P2-333MHz)  384MB
プライマリHDD： ST3160021A ( 160 GB )
セカンダリHDD： ST3160021A ( 160 GB ) (後のRAID1-ミラー 用)
NIC： 3Com 3C905B-TX (オンボード)

起　動

上記で作成した1枚目のCDを入れ、マシンのBIOS設定の優先起動DiskをCD-ROMにして起動する。




※　CD-ROMからの起動に失敗する場合は、こちらを参考のこと。



インストール ※全体所要時間　約 3時間20分

下図のようなインストール形式選択画面に変わる。
"1"を入力して、Solaris Interactive(対話形式)のインストールを選択し、Enterを押す。
(何も入力しなくても30秒後に自動的にSolaris Interactiveが選択される。)

OSインストールの準備が開始される。(なぜかNICの設定を試みるため、妙に時間がかかる→約5分)

GUI環境の解像度・色数・キーボード・マウスの検出結果が表示される。
キーボードの設定を日本語(106)に変更するので、30秒以内に "ESC"キーを押す。

下図のようにビデオ・キーボード・マウスの変更選択画面になる。
Video DeviceとMonitor TypeとPointing Deviceは表示されているものでOKだが、
Keybord TypeがGeneric US-English(104-Key)(英語104キーボード)になっているので、
矢印キーを使って"Change Keyboard"の位置に反転色を移動させ、
スペースを押して"X"マークをつけ、<F2>を押す。

キーボードタイプ選択画面になるので、矢印キーを使って(ずっと上に)
"Generic Japanese(106)"の位置に反転色を移動させ、スペースを押して"X"マークをつけ、<F2>を押す。

Window System テスト画面になるので、そのまま<F2>を押して進む。

		You can test the current window system configuration now by

		pressing F2. If the configuration is correct, you will see

		the sample image, be able to move the pointer, and click on

		a buttom. If you see a blank or improper screen, press any

		key. If kdmconfig does not regain control within a minute.
		you will have to reboot your system.

		

		Press F4 to bypass the test. If you bypass the test and you

		have an incorrect or incomplete configuration, you will not

		be able to use the window system.

画面がブラック･アウトし、しばらくすると下図のような色見本画面になるので、
"Yes"をクリックする。






ここでGUI画面が起動する。  (ここまで　約8分経過)






言語選択画面になるので、"4"を入力して日本語を選択し、Enterを押す。




ようこそ画面になり、簡単な説明がされるので、次へ。




ネットワークの接続性は「する」にチェックを入れ、次へ。




DHCPを使ってIPを割り当てるか？を訊ねられるので、「いいえ」にチェックを入れ、次へ。




ホスト名を入力して次へ。




マシンのIPアドレスを入力して次へ。




サブネットマスクを入力して次へ。




IPv6は後に使用する可能性もあり、IPv4に影響はないので、「はい」にチェックを入れ、次へ。




デフォルトルートは手動指定するので、「指定」にチェックを入れ、次へ。




LAN内のゲートウェイ(ルーター)のIPアドレスを入力して次へ。




Kerberosは使用しないので、「いいえ」にチェックを入れ、次へ。




DNSにチェックを入れ、次へ。



自分のドメイン名を入力して次へ。



LAN内のDNSのIPアドレスを入力して次へ。



何も入力せず、空欄のまま次へ。



GMTとの時差にチェックを入れ、次へ。




スライドバーを+9の位置にスライドさせて次へ。




現在のなるべく正確な時間を入力して次へ。




root(管理者)のパスワードを入力して次へ。




プロキシ設定は空欄のまま、次へ。




確認後、次へ。






そのまま次へ。




そのまま次へ。




了解ボタンを押す。




CD/DVDにチェックを入れ、次へ。




準備が開始される。




「同意する」にチェックを入れ、次へ。




初期インストールにチェックを入れ、次へ。




カスタムインストールにチェックを入れ、次へ。




後からの環境構築がどのようにも出来るように、全ての日本語にチェックを入れ、次へ。




以下のようにEUCを選択して、次へ。




Solaris Software Companion CD だけにチェックを入れて、次へ。




「なし」にチェックを入れ、次へ。




今回は「全体ディストリビューション」にチェックを入れ、次へ。




どのHDDにインストールするか？の選択画面になる。
プライマリのHDDだけを選択側へ入れて、次へ。




パーティションを編集するので、c0d0にチェックを入れて、次へ。




以下のように全ての領域をSolaris にする。




データの保存は必要ないので、「いいえ」にチェックを入れ次へ。




スライス（パーティション）のデフォルトの状態が表示されるので、変更ボタンをクリックする。




デフォルトの状態が表示される。




以下のように変更して了解ボタンをクリックする。
(後のRAID1設定のmeta領域のために100MB残す)




変更後の状態が表示されるので、次へ。




全ての準備が完了し、確認画面になるので、問題なければ「インストール開始」ボタンをクリックする。　(ここまで 約15分経過)




1枚目のディスクは約12分かかる。




一時停止中というダイアログが出るので、継続をクリックして再起動させる。
CDを抜く。　　（ここまで　約27分経過)








再起動完了後にNFSv4のドメイン名を設定するか？を訊ねられるので、noを入力してEnter。



    



This system is configured with NFS version 4, which uses a domain

name that is automatically derived from the system's name services.

The derived domain name is sufficient for most configureations. In a

few cases, mounts cross different domains might cause files to

be owned by "nobody" due to the lack of a common domain name.

GUIが起動する。




2枚目のCD内容を何処から読み込むか？を訊ねられるので、CDにチェックを入れ、次へ。




CDドライブが自動で開くので、2枚目のCD-ROMを挿入して了解をクリックする。




2分後に下図が現れるので、インストール開始ボタンをクリックする。




約22分かかる。




3枚目のCD内容を何処から読み込むか？を訊ねられるので、CDにチェックを入れ、次へ。




CDドライブが自動で開くので、3枚目のCD-ROMに入れ替えて了解をクリックする。




1分後に下図が現れるので、インストール開始ボタンをクリックする。




約10分かかる。




4枚目のCD内容を何処から読み込むか？を訊ねられるので、CDにチェックを入れ、次へ。




CDドライブが自動で開くので、4枚目のCD-ROMに入れ替えて了解をクリックする。




2分後に下図が現れるので、インストール開始ボタンをクリックする。




約25分かかる。




LanguagesCDの内容を何処から読み込むか？を訊ねられるので、CDにチェックを入れ、次へ。




CDドライブが自動で開くので、LangagesCDをCD-ROMに入れ替えて了解をクリックする。




1分後に下図が現れるので、インストール開始ボタンをクリックする。




約6分かかる。




CompanionCDの内容を何処から読み込むか？を訊ねられるので、CDにチェックを入れ、次へ。




CDドライブが自動で開くので、CompanionCDをCD-ROMに入れ替えて了解をクリックする。




1分後に下図が現れるので、インストール開始ボタンをクリックする。




約1時間30分かかる。




一時停止中というダイアログが出るので、継続をクリックして再起動させる。










再起動後、GUIの起動に失敗した。

kdmconfigを起動する。
# kdmconfig


kdmconfigが起動するので、矢印キーを使って"Xsun server"に移動し、スペースバーを押して"X"マーク
をつけ、<F2>を押す。



    
kdmconfig - Introduction and X Server Selection


    

		kdmconfig allows you to select the X Window System server (Xorg or Xsun).

The currently select X server is maked whith an [X] below. To change the

selected server, use the up and down arrow keys and press <ENTER> to mark

your selection [X]. If you change the X server selection, the new X server

will be used the next time an X Window session is started.



For Xsun, kdmconfig has attempted to identify the devices necessay for the

window system. If the configuration is  incorrect or incomplete you may not

proposed Xsun configuration.



For Xorg, kdmconfig is unable to display or update the current Xorg

configuration. Press F2 for instructions on Xorg configuration.



Press F3 to exit kdmconfig without making any changes.
