ここではrsyncについての詳しい使用方法は割愛し、
　・インストール
　・デーモンでの起動
までとする。





必要なソフトウェア：

rsync-2.6.3.tar.gz(30.Sep.2004 Released)
http://rsync.samba.org/


インストール：

使用gcc： gcc-3.4.2 (Software Companion CD)
環境変数： こちら



作業ディレクトリを作成する。
$ mkdir /opt/src/rsync-2.6.3

作業ディレクトリに移動する。
$ cd /opt/src/rsync-2.6.3

アーカイブをダウンロードする。
$ wget http://rsync.samba.org/ftp/rsync/rsync-2.6.3.tar.gz

ダウンロードしたアーカイブを解凍展開する。
$ tar xozf rsync-2.6.3.tar.gz

展開されたディレクトリに移動する。
$ cd rsync-2.6.3

最適化スクリプトを実行する。
$ ./configure \
--sysconfdir=/etc \
--build=i386-pc-solaris2 | tee configure_001.log

コンパイルする。
$ make | tee make_001.log

SuperUserになる。
$ su
password:

インストールする。
# make install | tee make_install_001.log



設定ファイル：

設定ファイルの内容についても詳細な説明は割愛する。


設定ファイル(新規ファイル)をviで作成する。
# vi /etc/rsyncd.conf

以下のような内容(例)を記述して保存する。

	syslog facility = local5
	uid = nobody
	gid = nogroup
	use chroot = yes
	max connections = 4
	read only = yes


[mydir]
	path = /export/home/me
	hosts allow=192.168.1.0/24



デーモンモードの起動スクリプト：

新規起動スクリプト /etc/init.d/rsyncd をviで作成する。
# vi /etc/init.d/rsyncd

以下の内容を記述して保存する。

PID=`ps -ef ¦ grep 'rsync --daemon' ¦ grep -v grep ¦ gawk '{print $2}'`

	if [ -f /usr/local/bin/rsync -a -f /etc/rsyncd.conf ]; then

			/usr/local/bin/rsync --daemon ;  echo "Okey! starting rsyncd server."

		fi
	else
		echo "Error! file not found rsync or rsync.conf"
	fi

	$0 stop
	sleep 2
	$0 start

作成した起動スクリプトに実行権限を与える。
# chmod 744 /etc/init.d/rsyncd




本体起動時に自動起動させる。
ディレクトリを移動する。
# cd /etc/rc2.d

シンボリックリンクを張る。
# ln -s ../init.d/rsyncd ./S99rsyncd



起動させる。
# ./S99rsyncd start
